Celebrity, like suntan, fades unless you stay in The Sun.

I saw a guy on a tv quizshow. He used to be famous but now we have
to be reminded of who he used to be before he became what he is now.
Forgotten.
When did it happen? How long after you’ve been in the limelight does
it lose its citrus tang and the producers decide they need to show
a photograph of who he used to be in order to remind us who he isn’t now?
The public can be forgetful. Unforgiving.
And now he has to work for a living.
